Donny R Disbro, MBA, CCAM
CEO
Professional Community Management (PCM)

Donny Disbro is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Professional Community Management (PCM) – one of the largest managers of homeowner associations in the country. Disbro has been in community relations since 1993 and entered the real estate management industry in 1997 by joining PCM as a portfolio manager. He has lead his company to land clients via his forward planning consulting and management experience who develop large-scale master planned homeowner associations and diverse HOA communities. Some of his clients include The Irvine Company, Emaar, John Laing Homes, Pulte Homes, Del Webb, The Lewis Group, Standard Pacific Homes, William Lyon Homes, and many other prestigious fortune 500 developers/builders.

Beginning in 1997, Disbro managed a portfolio of six large-scale community associations where he worked directly with corporate management and association boards of directors to coordinate and plan multi-million dollar budgets, conduct meetings, obtain maintenance proposals, assist with customer service, oversee vendor quality control, and help ensure civil and corporate compliance.

His experience with association boards, residents, and vendors provided a strong background for his promotion in 1999 to write the initial business plan incorporating CID management services into PCM’s Internet Services Division branded as “iaccess”. His mission as such was to bring management services on-line, enhancing customer service quality while increasing the speed of business communication to clients and vendors within the community association industry. Donny also added a new revenue stream to PCM by allowing vendors to advertise directly to managers online when the managers sought out their type of property services.

In 2004, Donny became PCM’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the firm representing and targeting PCM services to land owners, equity partners, builders and developers, and cities throughout Southern California. He transitions these communities from developer control to homeowner board of director control overseeing a department of general managers at PCM. Donny also negotiated contracts on behalf of PCM for large-scale existing community associations in Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties.

Now as CEO, Donny will continue in driving growth and strategy efforts for the company along with leading his executive team that oversees four (4) business units: PCM Community Management; PCM Consulting Services (Developer and Builder Forward Planning and Department of Real Estate Budgets for HOAs); PCM Realty & Marketing; and PCM Data Services.  Donny will also work closely with PCM Marketing and IT with a goal to grow the firm value while maximizing efficiency, cost reduction incentives, and manager work quality.

In addition, to his management role he executes brand positioning strategies and ad strategies.  And Mr. Disbro was elected to the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association (BIA), Seniors Housing Council and serves on many committees such as the BIA Construction Quality Committee, Home Aid Orange County’s Project Playhouse Committee, and ULI’s Programs Committee.

Donny Disbro received his MBA from Chapman University, Orange, California, in May of 2003.  He also holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance from Chapman University where he also served as Team Captain for two years on the University’s NCAA baseball team.
