BioDonny R Disbro, MBA, CCAM Donny Disbro is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Professional Community Management (PCM), one of the largest managers of homeowner associations in the country. During his fourteen years with PCM, Disbro has been an exceptional leader on the firm’s executive management and marketing team. He actively oversees all sister companies of PCM including PCM of California, PCM, Inc. of Laguna Woods Village, PCM Consulting Services and PCM Realty. Disbro has strengthened PCM’s 40-year legacy of innovation, customer service and integrity by rolling out the online RFP vendor management portal, a tool that has enhanced customer service quality while increasing the speed of business communication to clients and vendors within the community association industry. Additionally, he developed a new revenue stream for PCM by allowing vendors to advertise online directly to community managers seeking property services. Under Disbro’s leadership, the company has realized 25% client growth across Southern California. PCM’s client portfolio has increased from 175 to 300 associations in the past decade. Disbro has an extensive background in professional community management. Beginning in 1997, Disbro managed a portfolio of six large-scale community associations. During this time, he worked directly with corporate management and association boards of directors to coordinate multi-million dollar budgets, conduct meetings and obtain maintenance proposals. Disbro built a reputation for excellent customer service while ensuring vendor quality control and civil and corporate compliance. In 1999, Disbro was promoted to Director of PCM’s Internet Services Division. In this position, he was responsible for writing the initial business plan incorporating common interest development management services into PCM’s Internet Services Division branded as “iaccess”. This division developed websites for all PCM-managed community associations and began the process of creating the company’s RFP vendor management portal. In 2004, Disbro was named PCM’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development where he represented and targeted PCM services to land owners, equity partners, builders and developers, and cities throughout Southern California. The developer clients that have worked with PCM include The Irvine Company, The Pulte Group, Trump Organization and William Lyon Homes. Disbro led the transition of these communities from the developer as governor to a homeowner board of directors. Disbro also supervised general managers at PCM and negotiated contracts on behalf of PCM for large-scale new development community associations in Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties. In 2010, Disbro was elected to the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association (BIA) Orange County and served on the BIA Southern California 50+ Housing Council. Disbro serves on several committees for the BIA including the Construction Quality Committee, Programs Committee, Quality Green Committee, Home Aid Orange County’s Project Playhouse Committee, and also serves on ULI’s Programs Committee. Disbro received his MBA from Chapman University, Orange, California, in May of 2003. He holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance from Chapman University where he was Team Captain for two years on the University’s NCAA baseball team. Together with his wife Dione, he is very committed to youth sports programs in South Orange County. With their two sons Brady and Gavin, the Disbro family spends most weekends on sports fields. |
