Since the year 2010, Mr. Storage’s current position is that of General Manager of Laguna Woods Village, Laguna Woods, a resort-style active adult community. Prior to this position, Mr. Storage was the Director of Maintenance and Security for the community for over a decade.

Mr. Storage oversees a complex operation that provides all services associated with the management and maintenance of the Village having 18,000 residents and 13,000 dwelling units (condominiums and cooperatives) and facilities with a total operating budget of $100 million and various multi-million dollar capital projects and acquisitions each year. The operation includes oversight of 1,000 employees. The operations overseen by Mr. Storage and his executive team include:

  • Customer Service and service request processing
  • Maintenance: painting, carpentry, permits/inspections, paving, vehicle and equipment maintenance, electrical, appliance repairs, plumbing, janitorial, construction services, facilities management, remediation services, restoration services, etc.
  • Resales inspections and processing
  • Bus System/Transit management, including fixed route and demand-response
  • Broadband Services including HDTV, High Speed Data, Pay per View, community television programming, and head-end maintenance and management
  • Landscaping: golf course management/maintenance, arboriculture, landscape design, landscape operations, nursery operations, composting, and recycling
  • Community and Governmental Relations
  • Community rules compliance
  • Social Services
  • Financial Services: financial planning, budget development, purchasing, warehouse operations, risk management
  • Security: access control, patrol services, BSIS licensed as a private patrol operator (PPO)
  • Recreation Services: facilities, events, clubs
  • Human Resources: recruitment, training, benefits, safety, oversight of Union contract
  • High-rise towers management and food service
  • IT and Systems Development
  • Governmental affairs and public relations

    • Mr. Storage holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from American University. Prior to joining PCM, he worked with Black & Veatch, a global engineering corporation, as Project Director for both domestic and international projects. He is a member of the following organizations: American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Water Works Association (AWWA), Water Pollution Control Association (WPCA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA); Community Associations Institute (CAI); California Association of Community Managers (CACM); Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE), Association of Electrical Engineers (AEE), American Society of Industrial Security, (ASIS), and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, (ASME).
