Professional Community Management (PCM)

Michelle Thomson, Vice President Strategic Programs for Professional Community Management (PCM), has been an industry professional for 28 years. Michelle continues to provide excellent customer service and guidance to thousands of homeowners in community associations in Southern California.

In her current position, Michelle’s responsibilities include building business strategies and, creating and implementing ancillary services to the PCM clients, and continued involvement in the trade organizations. She has also created a synergy when working with vendors within the industry to maximize the relationships and business development for the PCM clients.

Michelle has worked with many homeowner boards of directors, and various homeowner committees. Her experience and knowledge have provided guidance to communities experiencing challenging deferred maintenance, large renovation/construction projects, environmental issue, coastal commission issues, working with Cal Trans, and budgetary related issues. Michelle continues to manage community associations, and is actively engaged in maintaining client relationships for PCM.

As a skilled manager, she has earned the prestigious designation of CCAM, Certified Community Association Manager, from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Michelle was nominated for Manager of the Year through the Community Association Institute (CAI), and Seven (7) time Vision Award Nominee, two (2) time Vision Award recipient for outstanding managerial skills through California Association of Community Managers (CACM).

Michelle has a business law and horticulture background and is a graduate of Orange Coast College in Business Administration.
